The Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Mainstreaming Policy Guide
This Policy Guide document serves as a practical reference tool with examples to enable a better understanding of gender mainstreaming within the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. The guide is in two parts. The first section outlines the research carried out by Africa Skills Hub with the support of several entrepreneurial ecosystem practitioner organizations namely SE Ghana, Scale Up Africa, Social Innovation Africa, and NEIP. The second section presents a Gender Mainstreaming Policy Guide for policymakers in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem and other stakeholder groups working on economic development initiatives to consider and implement in their day-to-day activities. The desired impact includes the broader understanding and adoption of Gender Mainstreaming as a continuous process, to improve the efficiency and quality outcomes of entrepreneurship development policies, activities, programs, and initiatives.
