About Youth In Innovative Agriculture Programme
Africa Skills Hub executed an intensive agribusiness training (technical and business development) and assessed the “Youth in Innovative Agriculture Programme” under the government’s new Ghana Cares Obaatan Pa program.
This program is being implemented by the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) to give youth who are already in agriculture the needed training and funding to expand their businesses and ensure food security to help close Ghana’s food import substitution gap. The training covered three areas under the Agribusiness sector; Vegetable Farming, Poultry/Livestock, Yam/cassava & Agro Processing.
