Description: Ghana is working to strengthen its efforts at eradicating poverty through some form of investment in human development, social inclusion for the wellbeing and dignity of all citizens.
Social protection considerations have become an integral part of development strategies to reduce poverty and vulnerability.
Under the theme “Facing the future by partnering towards reduced inequalities”, this event aims to inspire and foster discussions on the points of partnership and benefits of engaging various stakeholders and their contribution to the delivery of the SDGs at the local level while revamping the social contract and reducing inequalities.
The panel discussion type of forum will serve to bring together a cross-section of expertise from a diversity of fields and roles to help:
• Provide substantive inputs and identify cases from specific events/projects (including those that are ongoing or have been conducted) that illustrate challenges or highlight innovative practices;
• Influence collaborations and programmes of work going forward from 2022
